Name: Sylvester, Darius Carlisle
Age: Darius was born in the 16th Century, so he’s close to 300 years old now. He was 28 at the time of his transformation.
Gender: Male
Race: Vampire
Occupation: Actor
Personality:
Physical Appearance:An Ancient Vampire
Special Abilities: Darius has the unique ability to read the minds of woman he interacts with. Once he hears their voice, he can then ‘hear their mind’s voice’. Works with both Humans and Lycans, though more the former than the latter.
Strengths: Darius is able to control his lust for blood, and can withstand even the urge to attack, once blood has been spilled, so long as he’s ‘properly fed’, if you will. Darius has an amazing, beautiful voice; mainly from all of the years of practice and experience he has gained. Darius is well versed in a fair amount of languages and trades, having worked at a lot of different jobs in his life.
Weaknesses: Darius has a weakness for growing close to women (Human, once a Lycan, etc…) and most times falling in love with them. However, they oftentimes found out, or he told them of what he was, or some other reason would drive them away. Half of the time with the Humans, they would come across Darius on a day, when he specifically told them to stay away and he’d accidentally drink their blood dry, hence killing them. Darius, though he can stand the smell of blood, does have a problem with containing himself when his lips meet that of a pumping vein right beneath the surface. He has problems with stopping and actually letting the person live, so he mainly lives on the blood of animals and dying Humans.
Family: Unknown/Forgotten
History : Darius was separated from his parents at a young age and grew up mostly in an all-male orphanage, shy and always hidden. Darius never fit in with any of the boys there, so instead kept to the secret passageways and corridors of the orphanage, slowly learning and memorizing every nook and cranny of the place. Not being social, for the longest time the other children and the caretaker thought Darius to be a deaf-mute, but that wasn’t the case at all. At the ripe age of 14, Darius was turned into the cruel real world of England with not a cent to his name. Darius started off his soon-to-be-rocky life, as a tailor’s assistant, making less than minimal wage for that time. Darius also worked at many other small time, small money-making jobs, learning as much as he could about each one.
During the time the Great Plague, or bubonic plague, broke out in England, Darius was working in a baker’s shop on Pudding Street in London. Darius watched as numerous people fell and died around him, but luckily wasn’t infected. On September 2nd, 1666, Darius, now a young man, was working in the kitchen of the baker’s shop and accidentally left a loaf of bread in the oven longer than needed, consequently starting the Great Fire of London. "The fire was finally brought under control five days later. Amazingly, the fire caused only a few deaths. But most of the City, which was built largely of wood, lay in ashes. The losses included St. Paul's Cathedral and more than 80 other churches, the Royal Exchange, the halls of 44 craft and trade guilds, and about 13,000 houses," The papers told their public. Darius had felt terrible at what he had done, purposefully or not, and left the baker, trying to repent by helping fix up the city once again.
Darius’ endeavors were cut short by his sudden, and one of the last, break outs of the bubonic plague, marking the end of his human life. Unable to be healed, and knowing he would die soon, Darius left the hospital-like building he was forced to stay in and clambered toward the Thames River. He threw himself over and into the rushing water, in an act of self-punishment for the bad deeds he had done and a moment of madness. When Darius awoke, he was on the shore, somewhere down river, and a dark figure hovered above him, something foul-smelling dripping from his mouth. Darius soon learned that the figure had been his savior and killer; a vampire who saved him from the river, saved him from the plague’s death, but also made him a vampire. Darius was about 28 at the time of his transformation.
Cherished Memory: One of Darius' most cherished memories, as a vampire that is, was of the time when he loved, and was loved back by a Lycan woman named, Audrey. It was the happiest time of his life, even if it was difficult repressing the urge to kill one another, but they proved their love stronger by resisting.
Painful Memory:
